Here you can find important information you need to know before coming to our studio. Please take a moment to read through this section. We can't wait to see you in class!
I'm new. What time should I arrive to class? All new clients should plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your first class. This will give you ample time to meet your instructor, ask any questions get a tour of the studio and overview of our equipment.
What should I bring to class? 1. Wear clothes you’re comfortable working out in and possibly a water bottle and towel. 2. Sticky socks are required for Xformer classes.They are optional for Pilates Reformer and Cadillac classes. If you don’t have sticky socks, we have socks for purchase in studio.
Are your classes suitable for beginners? Yes, all our classes are suitable for all levels. Classes are often structured to accommodate beginners as well as more advanced practitioners. Let your instructor know if you’re new, and they can offer modifications and guidance.
What should I do if I have a pre-existing injury or medical condition? Inform your instructor about any injuries or conditions before class. They can offer modifications and ensure exercises are adapted to meet your needs safely.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my class? We allow cancelations without penalty up to 12 hours before a class begins. After that your cancellation will be considered late and you will lose that session. We do not charge an extra cancellation fee currently.
How do I book a class? You can book several ways 1. Through our website by visiting the Schedule page. There you can see the entire schedule and sign up for an account if you do not currently have one with us. 2. You can also sign up through Mindbody online at clients.mindbodyonline.com where you can sign in, or create an account and search for Hireformance Institute to see the schedule, sign up and purchase classes. 3. By downloading the Mindbody app, where you can sign in, or create an account and search for Hireformance Institute to see the schedule, sign up and purchase classes. 4. We are a Classpass partner, you can register for any class if you are a Classpass member.
How far in advance can I schedule classes?... You are able to sign up for classes on a rolling 7 day cycle.
I have ClassPass, can I use that to sign up for classes? Yes! Our schedule is open for ClassPass members, we do not limit the number of ClassPass members in our classes. Please keep in mind that b/c ClassPass is a third party we are not able to make any early cancellations or changes. Class sign ups lock out an hour before the start of class, we cannot manually add you to classes after that time period or put you in to a different class if you cannot attend the time you are scheduled for. For assistance with any scheduling issues please contact ClassPass directly as we are unable to access your account.
Are there any prerequisites for joining a class? No prerequisites are required, but please arrive 10-15 minutes early if it is your first time at our studio or your first time doing pilates. This will give you ample time to meet your instructor, ask any questions get a tour of the studio and overview of our equipment.
How do your Recurring Class Packages work? Monthly Recurring packages automatically start and renew on the 1st of every month. To start a recurring package mid-month please create your account if you don't have one and contact us. We will then be able to prorate your sessions for the remainder of the current month. Please note, when buying the recurring package online it will charge you but you won't be able to use those sessions until the 1st of the following month! Sessions do not roll over and will expire if not used. To change or cancel contact us before the 1st of the month.
Do you offer a free class for new clients? We don't offer free classes. But as a new client you are able to buy your first class BOGO. You will get 2 classes for $35. Visit the Plans and Pricing page on our website to get started!
Do I need to start with Standard classes before taking a HIT class? No, you can start with HIT classes if that is the style you like. Each class is modifiable for beginners. You can set your own pace and adjust spring tension to modify if you need.
Where do I put my belongings during class?... Each room has cubbies for you to place your belongings.
